Our story is rooted in experience, resilience, and a passion for helping customers bring their vision to life. Valerie brings a background in luxury property and commercial management, while Tom previously served as a facilities maintenance head. When COVID-19 caused us to lose our essential jobs, we decided to turn that unexpected change into an opportunity and start our own business.Tom is originally from Omaha, and Valerie is a Kansas City native. Together, we bring a practical understanding of property care, maintenance, and high-quality installations.We do not provide design services. Instead, we install the products and designs our customers have selected with their designer. Valerie’s keen eye for design, combined with her experience in luxury properties and commercial management, gives her a strong appreciation for quality, details, and aesthetics. She is always happy to share her perspective and opinions when customers value an experienced second set of eyes.Our goal is simple: to provide dependable, quality installation while helping customers feel confident in the choices they have made for their space.

The on-site walkthrough free and includes a detailed assessment of your space to clarify project scope, identify any structural or design considerations, and set a realistic path forward. This fee is waived for jobs billed hourly. It gives both you and our team a clear picture of what the project actually involves before we put together a formal design estimate.
Can you handle older Kansas City houses?
Yes, and it is one of our specialties. we have experience with remodeling homes older than 100 years, Hyde Park, Brookside and Valentine & Roanoke neighborhoods to be specific and we have rehabbed newer homes and finished basements in new builds.

How do you keep the job site clean while work is underway?
Keeping your space clean throughout the project is not optional for us; it is a core part of how we work. We follow a clean-as-you-go standard on every job site. That means debris gets cleared, dust gets managed, and your space stays as livable as possible while work is underway. This philosophy comes directly from our background managing large residential portfolios, where cleanliness and efficiency were non-negotiable. We treat your space as a sanctuary, not a construction site.How do I get on your schedule, and how far out are you typically booked?
To secure your spot on our schedule, we require a 25 to 50 percent deposit after your estimate is accepted. Priority is given based on the order deposits are received, so moving forward promptly after your estimate is the best way to lock in an earlier start date. Do you take on smaller repairs and individual fixture installs, or only large remodeling projects?
We do both. While our primary focus is on high-value residential projects like basement buildouts, kitchen remodeling, and bathroom remodeling, we also handle a range of projects from full demo and rebuild to cosmetic changes. Same with range of smaller projects case by case. That includes window and door replacements, flooring, painting, framing, drywall, custom storage, and laundry room upgrades.
